The nature of a start-up is not organically reproduced in companies – as aspects of the founder’s mindset and vision may become diluted over time. As a result, parallel to daily management practices, a new operating model with new governance routines and investment funding mechanisms are initiated, including a “VC board” and a newly formed communications cadence is outlined and followed. It is important to clarify these mechanisms at the outset, so the teams and their work are set up for success.

If the initiative is a large one and there is a high degree of skepticism or lack of familiarity with the nature of the effort, is conducting a stakeholder assessment across a wide spectrum of leadership, spanning diverse functions and levels. We conduct assessments related to general change management up to wholesale digital transformation. To understand the path forward, cost implication, timing, current technology assessment of systems, infrastructure, technical debt, business intelligence, workflow integration, interoperability, and measurement reporting systems are also conducted at this time.
